Wildlife Monitoring at Élan: July 2025 Koala Survey Update
As part of our ongoing commitment to protecting the unique fauna and flora of the Élan community, we continue to actively monitor local wildlife in and around the construction area.
In July 2025, we completed the latest wildlife survey, which confirmed the presence of five koalas in the area. This survey is part of an ongoing monitoring program focused on understanding and supporting local koala populations through both drone surveillance and direct observation.
Alongside koalas, our team has also recorded a range of native species, including squirrel gliders, common brushtail and ringtail possums, short-eared possums, flying foxes, and birdlife such as the White-Bellied Sea Eagle.
We remain committed to ecological preservation throughout the life of the project. Keep an eye out for future updates and tips on how you can help protect Élan’s local wildlife.
