Our Community
Élan is a community-focused neighbourhood surrounded by natural green landscapes, offering a seamless connection to parks, communal spaces, and modern amenities. It fosters a strong sense of belonging through real stories and genuine connections among residents. The Elan Parklands serve as a central hub, featuring an adventure playground, open spaces for activities, shaded seating, and a dedicated dog park, providing something for all age groups. Nearly half of the area is dedicated to green spaces, interconnected by walking and cycling trails that promote community connectivity.
The Élan masterplan emphasises environmental sensitivity, with buffers and safe passages to protect koala habitats, the construction of fauna crossings, and the restoration of 9.9 hectares of vegetation and habitat. An additional 8.4 hectares of open space, including a recreation park and stormwater treatment facilities, are integrated to support long-term sustainability. Altogether, Élan offers diverse housing options within a highly liveable and environmentally conscious neighbourhood for future generations to enjoy.
Élan’s community development program will deliver education on supporting local fauna and flora through initiatives like wildlife surveys and events including tree planting days, a community grants and sponsorship program and more.

The importance of fostering a connected community lies in the hands of Elan’s dedicated Community & Development Officer, Sarah Tebbutt. From exciting initiatives to unforgettable events, Sarah spends her time cultivating a sense of community, ensuring residents have opportunities to forge connections, have meaningful conversations, and build lasting friendships with the ones they live closest to.
Sarah plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between residents and locals by actively engaging with the Moreton Bay community, clubs, and organisations that form the backbone of our neighbourhood. The Sponsorship and Grants program is an integral part of Elan’s overarching Community Engagement and Events Program, one Sarah leads with pride in support of the local community and overall investment back into the region.
